Family

I have 6 people in my family including me. I have one awesome sister, one weird brother, one loving mom, one cool dad, one cute dog, and then me! My sister's name is Audrey, my brother's name is Louis, and my name is Josephine! My dog's name is Ladybird. Sometimes the boys have boy time and the girls have girl time. This weekend, the girls went to the ranch, and the boys went on a camping trip. At the ranch, we swam, and we also walked the trails, and we watched a movie together. Our cousins were there for one day. They worked on the club, too. There was a bone trail with lots of bones from animals. There were skulls, and leg bones, and some back bones. We wanted to bring the bones to our club, but my mom wouldn't let us. The bones are supposed to stay there, because it's called The Bone Trail. Me and my sister worked on our club, and we went on the paddle boat on the pond. My dog jumped on the boat! I got to steer the paddle boat and so did my sister. We took a long walk all together. I love my family and my family loves me!!

Diabetes

I started getting more tired and cranky in June 2011. Then my mom took me to the doctor and they said I have diabetes. Which meant my pancreas stopped working. I had type one diabetes. I have to take an insulin shot often, at least five times a day. And I had to prick my finger to see my BG (how high or low my blood sugar is). I was very scared at first, but I got over it. And instead of a shot now I use a pump which is a device that gives me insulin every time I eat. When I got diabetes, it helped me get better at math because you have to add and subtract.
